Alistair is skilled horticulturalist and plantsman. His clients have included local and county councils, housing associations, educational institutions, and private clients throughout the Sussex Weald.

Alistair works in respect of the seasons, and the connection between the garden, the wild landscape and the natural environment. His extraordinary plantsmanship is outweighed only by his deep sensitivity for the land, and healthy eco-systems.

Alistair consults on, and undertakes the design and maintenance of ornamental herbaceous borders; perennial planting; wild flower meadows; wildlife gardening; low maintenance planting schemes; water gardens; lawn care; arboriculture; fruit and vegetable production; soil improvement; and forest gardens.
